July 2013 double TIGER report!

first tiger was caught at the beginning of July using a big jack crevel head that Jonathan let me use. thanks for the bait bro!!!!!!! this first tiger fought very hard and pulled some great drag off the 14/0! the two tiger trip was pretty crazy, there was so much grass and a pretty decent current so it made it very hard to fish. when we got all set up I kayaked four baits out, my 14/0, and 3 more reels for friends. within and hour we had a horrible mess two 9/0's tangled and then the 12/0 got tangled with the 9/0's so we spent the next 30 minuets or so working on that and to my surprise we got everything untangled and did not have to cut any lines. the other rods were short so they were collecting grass really fast so we just left my rod out for another hour or so. then I decide to reel in and take out my big cuda head cause I did not like the placement, and within an hour of dropping the bait I got hit. that was the first tiger caught around 11:00 or 12:00 that night. after that my friends had to leave cause they had to work early in the morning, but I found out that I dident have to work the next day so I asked them if they could stay for a few minuets well I take another bait out. another bait out and im fishing solo now! about 3:30 in the morning I get picked up again! set hook and im on! about a 20 minute fight and then its in the surf and it would never give up! I also had no tail rope cause I lost it on the first shark on the release. so when its finally right at the beach I put my rod in the sand spike and go leader the fish and then wrap my shirt around its tail and pull it up! then snapped a few pictures and then back in the water it went! first tiger two tiger trip

yea buddy thats me, been jumping some tarpon and my regular spot is lemon city i cant keep em off my baits!!!
i see your goin hard as always keep it up!!

Jd Fagan is quite the accomplished land-based sharker. he has taken wins in multiple tournaments,has won many categories in the Annual South Florida Shark Club Tournament, and fishes harder and longer then anyone I know presently.ALL THAT HARD WORK EQUALS MANY IMPRESSIVE CATCHES including massive stud bulls,Big Hammers and now Big Tigers--the sky's the limit to what he will catch next,I'm predicting a BIG HAMMER over 13 foot within the next 12 months.
